Amber is excited to join the Williams Lake Optometry family. Amber joined our team in November 2020 and looks forward to helping patients in pretesting, visual fields and contact lenses.
Amber moved to the Cariboo from Vancouver in March 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her partner Griffin and their two dogs Miller and Mac. Amber looks forward to greeting you with a smile!
Michelle joined our team in October 2020. She has been living in Williams Lake with her family since April 2019 when she, her husband and daughter moved to Canada from South Africa. Michelle used to work as a Veterinary Anaesthesiology Nurse back home.
Michelle enjoys baking specialty cakes and doing family and landscape photography. She also loves reading and gardening.
Karin is excited to join Williams Lake Optometry. She joined the team in October 2020. Karin will be happy to assist you in the eyewear department.
Karin grew up in Horsefly BC and has lived in the Williams Lake area all her life. In her spare time Karin enjoys spending time camping, hiking and golfing with the husband Justin and kids Taylor and Landen.
Tanya is excited to be back in the optometry industry after moving to Saskatchewan 12 years ago. She brings eight years of optometric experience in preliminary testing, visual field testing, contact lenses and booking appointments.
Tanya met her soul mate Shane 23 years ago and they have one beautiful daughter named Khiera. Tanya and her family enjoy swimming, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Shelagh is VERY happy to join the Williams Lake Optometry family as a front desk receptionist after being away from the field of optometry for approximately seven years. She brings over three years of optometric experience and enjoys offering professional, courteous care and support, while promoting kindness and smiles.
Shelagh enjoys spending time with and spoiling her three fur babies. She enjoys being in the outdoors year round exploring the Cariboo’s hidden gems, hiking, quading, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.
Jasmine was born in Chilliwack and moved to Williams Lake when she was eight years old. She is excited to join Williams Lake Optometry and greet you as you come into our clinic. She can help you schedule your appointment as well as get you ready to see the optometrist.
Jasmine is the youngest of four siblings and the aunt to Nora-Jane and Owen. She loves spending time with family, baking, and holidays.
Faith is happy to be apart of the Williams Lake Optometry team. She joined our work family in April 2019. Faith looks forward to greeting you when you come into the clinic and running preliminary testing before you see the optometrist. She will also help you schedule an appointment at the front desk.
Faith was born and raised in Williams Lake. She graduated from Lake City Secondary school in 2018. In her spare time, Faith enjoys hiking with her partner Wyatt, and spending time with her family and friends.
Shelby is excited to be a part of the Williams Lake Optometry team. She joined us in June 2019. As one of our optometric assistants, Shelby can schedule an appointment for you as well as conduct preliminary and specialized testing for our optometrists.
Shelby moved from Northern Ontario to the Okanagan in 2014. She then moved to Williams Lake a few months later when she met her partner, Mike. In Shelby’s spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, traveling as well as spending time with her family. Five years later they are excited to welcome their new addition to the family in March 2020! Shelby looks forward to welcoming you to our clinic with a friendly smile.
Krista joined the Williams Lake Optometry team in June of 2019. She is excited to be working in our eyewear department. She looks forward to helping you pick out a frame and go over the different lens options available to suite your lifestyle.
Krista was born and raised in Williams Lake where she graduated from Williams Lake Secondary school in 2005. She brings extensive customer service skills from years worked in the electronics industry. Krista and her partner Dustin enjoy spending time with their dog Fynn, hunting, fishing and all of the great outdoor activities that the Cariboo has to offer.
Jordan is excited to be a part of the Williams Lake optometry team, joining in October 2017.
As one of our optometric assistants, Jordan can book an appointment for you as well as conduct the preliminary testing for our optometrists.
Since graduating three years ago, Jordan has enjoyed working with diverse groups of people and patients of all ages.
In 2014, Jordan returned to her hometown of Williams Lake with her partner, Kurtis. Three years later, Jordan and Kurtis were excited to welcome their newest addition to the family; Bradley James.
In Jordan's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, in the outdoors, and hosting get-togethers.

Bryan began his career in the optometry industry in February, 2011. Since that time, he has specialized in eyeglass dispensing, troubleshooting, difficult adjustments, and repairs. Bryan also has developed a passion for cutting lenses and crafting beautiful eyewear.
Born in the Yukon Territory, Bryan moved to BC at four years old. At the age of five, he moved to the Williams Lake area where he now co-parents his two beautiful daughters. Bryan is a classically trained singer and continues to learn the piano. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, canoeing, taking pictures, writing, listening to the CBC, and road trips.
Hanna was excited to join the Williams Lake Optometry team in March of 2017.
She has trained in the eyewear department, pretesting, and would be happy to book appointments for you. The three years following graduation Hanna worked in a local healthcare office and enjoyed working with patients of all ages.
Hanna was born and raised in Williams Lake and graduated from Columneetza Secondary School in 2013. In her spare time, Hanna enjoys playing hockey and outdoor activities.
Hanna married the love of her life Jake in the summer of 2017. They live in rural Williams Lake and enjoy spending time outdoors with their friends and family. They have a small hobby farm that includes a few dozen chickens.
Hanna enjoys working at Williams Lake Optometry and looks forward to welcoming you to our clinic.
Sherry Fuller grew up in Williams Lake and enjoys spending time in the cariboo. She specializes in the eyewear department, where she brings over six years of service. She loves to greet each and every patient with a warm and friendly smile and is eager to find the perfect pair of glasses for every patient. Sherry looks forward to meeting you in the near future!
Tanis began her career as an optometric assistant in 2012. She specializes in preliminary testing and visual field testing. She looks forward to assisting you in booking your appointments. Tanis grew up in Grande Cache, Alberta and spent two years in Edmonton training with the Royal Glenora Figure Skating Club. She moved to Williams Lake in 1991 and shortly after married her husband Dean. They have two beautiful daughters, Morgan and Sydney.
Jen loves being a part of Williams Lake Optometry. She started her career in the Optometry field in 2012. She will welcome you with a friendly smile when you come into our office. She has experience in Pre-testing, contact lenses, and in the Eyeglass Dispensary. She has travelled to Bella Coola, Anahim Lake, Redstone, Alexis Creek, Nemiah, and Tsay Keh Dene to provide eye care services. Jen was born and raised in Horsefly. For 25 years she has been married to her best friend Leonard. They have two grown children, Maria and Jack, and a beautiful granddaughter who makes their hearts smile. Family is an important part of Jen’s life. She enjoys spending time with them camping and fishing.
